Volunteer with us!
Mujeres Latinas en Accion has a variety of different programs and services in which volunteers can become involved. Our mission at Mujeres Latinas en Accion is to empower Latinas and their families through our services. An interested volunteer applicant must be 18 years of age or older and should share the same vision of wanting to make a difference in the Latino community.
Volunteer applicants should be familiar with issues affecting Latino culture, be bilingual, and willing to help in there area of interest in order to make a difference. Volunteers at Mujeres will gain knowledge and experience in working with crisis situations regarding domestic violence and sexual assault, case management regarding public benefits and child support, working with our afterschool programs for children and teenage girls, helping in voting and citizenship campaigns, aiding in supervising child visitation sessions, or even helping our Development team in securing donations or organizing events to make sure our programs can continue to serve our community.
If you are interested in volunteering with any of our programs, please fill out our volunteer application, and submit it to Martha Ramirez, via e-mail at Martha@mujereslat.org, by fax at 773-890-7650, or by mail to 2124 W. 21st Place, Chicago, IL 60608
