Family Engagement

The Family Engagement program mobilizes Mujeres participants and community members to become civically engaged around issues that impact them such as immigration, health, women’s rights, and gender violence. Through this project, we are able to identify community leaders, and build a base of volunteer and organization representatives. This program seeks to empower and support women and their families to organize and use their collective voice to advocate for lasting structural change that will benefit marginalized communities.

The program hosts monthly Cafes en Accion to discuss issues of importance in the community.
