Latina Portrait

Mujeres Latinas en Acción's Latina Portrait is a comprehensive research study that examines the current status of Chicago area Latinas based on indepth stastical research and quantitative and qualitative analysis within the contextual cultural realities of Latinas and their families. Latina Portrait assesses the needs of local Latinas, offering recommendations and raising social consciousness in order to help develop solutions. Latina Portrait findings focus on the following areas: Social Economic Well-Being, Health Disparities, Mental Health, Reproductive Health, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer/Questioning (LGBTQQ) Latinas, and Domestic Workers.
