Domestic Violence Administrative Compliance and Data Support Specialist

BASIC FUNCTION: Manages all DV client file documentation and client databases to ensure files are complete and up-to-date at all times.

REPORTS TO: Domestic Violence Program Senior Director


  1. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all client files within the Domestic Violence (DV) Program housed at four offices, including Pilsen, Brighton Park, CAC and North Riverside
  2. Ensure up-to-date and complete DV client services information in ETO and InfoNet databases
  3. Oversee DV file organization at all DV offices, including proper destruction of files over 7 years old
  4. Manage all DV client file updates in ETO and InfoNet, including ongoing collaboration with MLEA ETO Administrator and ICJIA InfoNet Administrators
  5. Coordinate materials and prepare DV staff members for all internal and external site audits, including arranging and obtaining completed client files as needed
  6. Supervise DV client documentation, collaborate with DV staff on documentation consults, provide DV staff training and documentation updates
  7. Assist with clerical tasks for DV staff, as requested
  8. Submit reports as needed
  9. Support efforts to promote awareness of domestic violence, including participation in Domestic Violence Awareness Month and other community events
  10. Participate in MLEA staff training sessions, in-services, staff meetings, external meetings, supervision, and professional group seminars or conferences to increase professional knowledge and enhance job skills
  11. Uphold professional ethical standards
  12. Other tasks as assigned by the Domestic Violence Program Senior Director


  • 3-5 years of experience in social services or related field required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), bicultural required
  • Prior experience with gender-based violence preferred
  • 40-Hour ICADV domestic violence training preferred
  • Effective interpersonal skills
