National Technical Assistance Coordinator of Sexual Assault

BASIC FUNCTION: Assist with the national technical assistance for all culturally specific sexual assault grantees, including counseling, community health models, and response and prevention to sexual violence. Work in collaboration with National Technical Assistance Manager of Sexual Assault with logistics and provision of technical assistance. This position is responsible for the management of grantees’ request portal, logistics of site visits and monthly calls.

REPORTS TO: National Technical Assistance Manager of Sexual Assault


  1. Assist to conduct needs assessment of 10-12 grantees to create a plan for training and technical assistance.
  2. Collaborate with National TA Manager to generate needed reports to Esperanza United.
  3. Assist National TA Manager to monitor all SA grantees to facilitate reporting requirements as needed.
  4. Coordinate internal/external presenter for webinar.
  5. Participate in the national convenings, partner meetings, and site visits in collaboration with the Sexual Assault TA Manager with all the SA grantees and partners.
  6. Facilitate the logistics of monthly calls with grantees.
  7. Work on logistics related to onsite visits, including lodging, travel arrangements.
  8. Participate with Esperanza United in the creation of RFP, selection of grantees and communicate outcomes of grant applications.
  9. Work in collaboration with National TA Manager and Director of Marketing and Communications to create messaging and promotion regarding the release of the RFP for this project and presentation materials for SA grantee trainings as needed.
  10. Manage and report the needs of the grantees requests from the Portal to secure the delivery of the technical assistance.
  11. Participate in capturing the impact of Mujeres’ technical assistance to accurate report to Esperanza United.
  12. Make recommendations for the creation/implementation of grantees’ portal.
  13. Maintain informed the National TA Manager, all internal parties involved about the development and critical issues affecting the project.
  14. Participate in making recommendations for the evaluation of the project.
  15. Assist the National TA manager to develop, research, and collect materials useful for supporting grantees.
  16. Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field
  • Fluent in Spanish/English and knowledge of Latine community required
  • Ability to travel nationwide required
  • Ability to manage virtual work
  • Strong organizational skills and knowledge of gender-based violence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English/Spanish
