Sexual Assault Therapist

BASIC FUNCTION: Conducts therapy for survivors of sexual violence. Provides case management and crisis intervention.

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sexual Assault Program

LOCATION: Hybrid position

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Engage sexual assault survivors (adolescents/adults) in therapy treatment.
2. Conduct assessments and treatment plans for survivors of sexual violence.
3. Provide ongoing therapy and maintain a caseload of survivors.
4. Coordinate care with internal and external linkages and referrals to address survivors’ additional needs.
5. Provide case management and crisis intervention as needed.
6. Participates in clinical reviews of cases.
7. Complete accurate the documentation of services rendered to survivors of sexual violence.
8. Generate reports of services and assist with statistical gathering.
9. Collaborate with the VP of Sexual Assault in the implementation of an evaluation component
10. Participate in internal/external meetings as needed.
11. Other duties as assigned.
    

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Social in social service field or equivalent
• Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English)
• Sexual Assault 40-hour trained or willingness to be trained

SALARY

·       Pre-Clinical Licensed Therapist(ex: LSW, LPC): $52,000-57,000 annually

·       Clinical Licensed Therapist(ex: LCSW, LCPC): $63,000-$70,000
annually
