Domestic Violence Clinical Manager

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and
compliance of all client and program documentation within the Domestic Violence (DV) Program. This role is critical for maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, supporting site audits, and ensuring program data is available to leadership to enhance program outcomes. The ideal candidate takes initiative, collaborates effectively with program staff, and has a commitment to the mission of supporting survivors of gender-based violence.This role involves the hiring, onboarding and supervising of program staff and overseeing daily activities. Responsibilities include staff performance assessment, clinical and administrative supervision of staff, ensuring timely reporting, supporting with crisis intervention, and utilizing data to guide program improvements. The role also involves participating in community events, advocacy, and meetings to enhance programming, and assisting with training and capacity building. Additionally, the position collaborates on program development, manages ICDVP certification processes, and may involve evening or weekend work to provide after-hours clinical support.

REPORTS TO: Director of Domestic Violence Program

LOCATION: Hybrid (3 days in office – Pilsen*)
*Will be required travel to other sites, as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Hires, onboards, and supervises daily activities of assigned domestic violence staff. Responsible for oversight of their performance evaluation, documentation reviews, monitoring of caseload and capacity as well as professional development.
  2. Provides clinical supervision (individually and/or group) to program staff and as needed, to other staff seeking clinical licensure.
  3. Responsible for identifying and addressing the program’s clinical needs, including providing clinical consultation to staff, guidance in high-risk situations, as well as ongoing review and enhancement of client-centered, culturally responsive, evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. Also responsible for developing appropriate tools, assessments, and forms as needed.
  4. Ensures that ongoing clinical trainings are provided in areas of need, including culturally relevant healing practices, child welfare, youth and family therapeutic services, and other relevant topics.
  5. Participates in ensuring timely and accurate completion of reports for all funding entities and internal reporting.
  6. Supports DV Director in oversight of various program services and program staff including those in satellite offices, and acts as backup for crisis intervention and intake, as needed.
  7. In collaboration with program leadership, leverages data to inform program development and utilizes trends to improve and expand program, as appropriate.
  8. Participates in community events, advocacy efforts, internal and external meetings (coalitions, committees, workgroups, etc.), as well as other identified activities that aim to enhance and expand programming.
  9. Assists in developing and implementing program processes, documentation standards, policies and procedures etc. to strengthen programming and compliance.
  10. Supports DV Program Director and Community Education Supervisor in overseeing the coordination and execution of 42-hour SA training as well as other identified clinical trainings.
  11. Works on program development, evaluation and critical issues affecting the program in collaboration with DV Program Director and other leadership, as appropriate.
  12. Collaborates with other Gender-Based Violence leadership to plan, schedule, and implement ongoing trainings to staff and interns. Leads client case staffings with other program leaders.
  13. Works with program leadership to identify critical factors impacting DV services and ensure implementation of resolution.
  14. In collaboration with program leadership, supports in managing the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP) application process and maintaining this certification as an organization.
  15. May be required to work some evenings and/or weekends particularly in providing clinical consultation to staff after hours.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clinical License (LCPC, LCPC, LMFT)
  • Master’s Degree (Social Work, Professional Counseling, Psychology or other related field)
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience required (including providing clinical supervision)
  • Fluent in Spanish/English and knowledge of Latine community required
  • Strong management, administrative and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of gender-based violence and providing culturally relevant services
  • Experience with oversight of grants and grant-funded programming
  • DV 40-hour training preferred
  • Certified Domestic Violence Professional preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in an environment where priorities can change rapidly
  • Prioritize projects, manage time to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

SALARY

$78,750-$85,000
