Domestic Violence (DV) Case Management Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and support case management staff, including conducting regular supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide guidance on client assessments, service planning, crisis intervention, and case management practices, including support for high-risk or complex cases.
  • Monitor staff caseloads to ensure equitable distribution of work and timely, effective service delivery.
  • Review case documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational, legal, and funder requirements.
  • Ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered approaches.
  • Oversee Rapid Rehousing (RRH) services, including ensuring timely housing placements, appropriate service planning, and compliance with program requirements and funding guidelines.
  • Support staff in coordinating housing resources, landlord engagement, and referrals to internal programs and external community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide guidance on housing stability planning, financial assistance coordination, and addressing barriers to housing for participants.
  • Maintain and update program policies, procedures, tools, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and organizational needs.
  • Lead team meetings, case conferences, and trainings to support staff development and continuous program improvement.
  • Ensure staff have access to and participate in ongoing training opportunities relevant to their roles.
  • Collaborate with the DV Program Director and leadership team to support program operations, address challenges, and implement solutions.
  • Utilize program data and trends to inform service delivery, program development, and reporting to leadership and funders.
  • Prepare and review reports, ensuring timely and accurate submission for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the program in community events, outreach efforts, and partnerships to strengthen relationships and expand services.
  • Support program development, evaluation, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
  • Provide backup support for intake, crisis intervention, and program needs as necessary.
  • May occasionally work evenings or weekends to support staff and program operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bilingual, bicultural (Spanish/English) required.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and written communication
  • Demonstrate skills and abilities to advocate for and with survivors of diverse populations.
  • Ability to multi-task in an environment where priorities can change rapidly.
  • Strong management, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience with oversight of grants and grant-funded programming.
  • Knowledge of Gender-Based violence and providing culturally relevant services preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related social services field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Illinois Certified Domestic Violence 40-Hour Training preferred.
  • Certified Domestic Violence Professional preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in office presence.
  • Standard office environment.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Travel to other Mujeres office locations.
  • Work evenings and weekends as needed.

Standard office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours based on programmatic needs, events, and participant scheduling.
